I have taken these brownies to many functions and gotten rave reviews, so now I am sharing them with everyone! Seriously!
To Begin -
1. Go buy a package of Gharidelli Chocolate Brownie Mix, preferrably with the chocolate chips mixed in. If you have a Costco near you usually you can find the big box with multiple packages...get those.
2. While you are at Costco get a bag of pecans or walnuts. I prefer walnuts but my hubs loves pecans so I put both in.
Prepare the pan -
1. I use a silcone baking pan however if you use a glass or metal one spray it with Pam for Baking to make sure it doesnt stick.2. Brownies alway burn at the edge because it takes so long for them to back. Use strips of foil along the edge of the pan to keep the heat deflected abit and your brownie edges will be as moist as the center.
Prepare the mix -
1. Chop up the nuts, my hubs likes big chunks so I put them in the chopper and give them a couple of whack and dump them in the mix.
3. Put in the oil and water. Use canola oil, takes 1/3 cup of oil and 1/3 cup of water per package of mix. put a tad extra oil in to make them super moist if you prefer fudgy brownies, if not dont add extra.
4. Mix with a spatula or a whisk just long enough to get the lumps out. Never make brownies when you are mad, you can beat the stuffing out of them.
5. Put the mix in the pan, add the strips of foil along the edges and pop them on the middle rack of the oven for 25 to 30 mins.
6. After that check them with a toothpick or I use a wooden skewer, you want the skewer to come out clean. If it does your treat is done!
Now it is totally up to you if you take these brownies somewhere to whether you confess the are homemade, because technically you did make them in your home. You just had some help with the details!!! Bon appetite!
